when it comes to my physical well being I feel that I am at about a 6 I have some physical issue that could be better if i made the time to exercise It would help with some of the stiffness and range of motion but I have taken steps to clear time to do some for of yoga it would work better with the stretching. My spiritual well being is about an 8 I glad to say spiritual side is doing well I have been through a great deal over these last couple of years and I am glad to say I came out on the other side better than when I started. My psychological well being has also taken a beating and I think it is about a 5 I have had too do some serious work to keep things going smoothly and removing stress causing agents/people.
My goal is to improve my physical well being by taking the above steps I had stated and i would like to start next week I would like to have better movement within the next few months. I believe spiritually I will reach a ten I just don't have a time table or plan I feel that it will happen when it is meant to. I think you get your spiritual messages when you are supposed to I attend church regularly and I pray regularly. I also follow the inner voice that tells you all you need to know.I think psychologically that will build in time as long as I keep all problems and stress at bay and just tune in to what I feel is only important to me.
When listening to the crime of the century It is easy to listen to but I do have to make sure no one is around because they are distracting and it is hard to keep acknowledging a constantly wondering thought. So i have to do this when no one is home otherwise I end up frustrated but on the other hand when I get too relaxed I fall asleep. I have to try this exercise a couple times in order to get the effect of feeling balanced and grounded. It is not something you get on the first try.
I had trouble concentrating on the exercise and I was alone. Honestly, I felt like an idiot. Congratulations on deciding to make a difference in your physical well-being. Don't let anyone or anything discourage you.
ReplyDeleteMeditation is like any other skill - it improves with practice. You can do it. What about doing it when you take a bath? I sometimes have to take these minutes since my house is constantly full of kids. I had at least ten kids in and out this weekend! I am looking forward to do this Rainbow meditation again.
ReplyDeletePsychological health is hard to keep balanced for me as well. I am like a magnet for problems - stress out over other people's problems, not only mine. I will have to do something about that when I want to become a psychologist. I will have to have some inner boundaries to not identify too much with people and their problems. Meditation can help there as well. The more I think about the applicability of meditation, the connection with a spiritual self, the more fields I find. For this time of my life this is definitely where everything points to - so, I take the invitation and meditate the heck out of the day! Haha.
